RECIPE BY NATURALLY HERBAL MAMA

Perfect for game nights and movie nights — ditch the popcorn for a healthier, smoky, cheesy and crisp kale flakes! It's easy to make with just a handful of ingredients and a regular oven.

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 cups fresh kale, stems removed and thoroughly dried
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • smoked salt (optional, but recommended)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 3-4 tbsp nutritional yeast
METHOD
  1. Preheat your oven to 220°F.
  2. In a sheet pan lined with parchment paper, place your kale leaves and top with the rest of the ingredients. Massage with your hand until all the leaves are coated with the oil and flavourings. Feel free to adjust the amount to your liking.
  3. Spread the leaves evenly, and bake for 20 minutes — turning each leaf hafway through.
  4. Once 20 minutes is done, increase the heat to 250°F and bake for an additional 7 minutes.
  5. Take it out in the oven and let it rest for a few minutes — it'll crisp up even more!
  6. Serve in your fave Jumbo Coconut Bowl, and enjoy!
