Butterfly pea powder's been getting more popular lately! They have tons of benefits, and makes food look more pretty. Butterfly pea powder will originally make your smoothie look blue, but add some acidity and it will turn purple! Try this superfood with this recipe and watch the colours change before your eyes!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 frozen banana
- a handful of frozen mango
- 1 large fresh pear (chopped)
- 1 tbsp plant yogurt
- 2 tsp butterfly pea powder
METHOD
- In a high-speed blender, blend all your smoothie ingredients until smooth, creamy and lump-free.
- Serve them in your favourite Coconut Bowls and top with your choice of toppings.
- Enjoy!
