RECIPE BY KAE FROM @fitfoodiekae

The strawberry and pitaya in this recipe makes such a vibrant, pretty pink hue in this smoothie bowl. If you love both flavors, then you'll love this recipe!
SERVES 1-2
INGREDIENTS
  • Bananas, 2-3 (frozen)
  • Strawberries, 1 cup
  • Pitaya, 2-3 oz (frozen)
  • Plant-based Milk, 1/4 cup
METHOD
  1. Add all ingredients to your blender and run until smooth. You may need to use the temper from time to time to push mixture down into the blades to make sure it blends well. You also may need to add more plant-based milk but it will be important to add just a little at a time, push down the smoothie mixture with the temper and then blend more.
  2. Once the smoothie mixture has reached the desired consistency, serve in a Coconut Bowl immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes until firmer and then devour.
