RECIPE BY JULIA FROM @missis_basil

No oven needed and so fuss-free to make, @missis_basil has created such an easy granola recipe for us. Also, a bonus recipe, poppy seed milk! If you haven't tasted it yet, give this recipe a try!

INGREDIENTS
  • OVEN-FREE GRANOLA
    • Oatmeal Flakes, 50g
    • Sesame Seeds, 1 1/2 tbsp
    • Sunflower Seeds, 1 tbsp
    • Pumpkin Seeds, 2 tbsp
    • Shredded Coconut, 2 tbsp
    • Raisings, 2 tbsp
    • Maple Syurp, 3 tbps
    • Ground Cinnamon, 1 tsp
    • Lemon Zest, 1 tsp
  • POPPY SEEDS MILK
    • Poppy Seeds, 1/2 cup
    • Water, 400 mls
    • Sweetener, 1 tsp (optional)
    • Vanilla Extract, a dash
METHOD
  1. POPPY SEEDS MILK
    1. Soak poppy seeds overnight. 
    2. Drain and blend it with the water. Strain through a cheesecloth and store in an air-tight container.
  2. OVEN-FREE GRANOLA
    1. Mix all the ingredients together.
    2. Heat up the pan, add granola, fry for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    3. Spread the granola over flat surface (like chopping board) and let it sit for at least 2 hours to let it dry and get crispy.
    4. Serve in your favourite Coconut Bowls and enjoy with a plant-based milk!
