A decadent yet healthy breakfast that doubles as a dessert!  This creamy chocolate chip caramel nice cream contains only 5 ingredients and takes only a few minutes to make. You can add your choice of superfood powders and/or plant based protein to any nice cream/smoothie bowl recipes for great a nutrient boost.

We used cacao nibs in replace to your usual chocolate chips in this chocolate chip caramel nice cream. It has the raw flavor of the chocolate and a little bit bitter. But the natural sweetness of the bananas and medjool dates will mask that bitterness giving you a rich, full flavor of chocolate. It is really high in antioxidants too!

We recommend serving this chocolate chip caramel nice cream with a generous serving of peanut butter, banana coins, macadamias and/or additional cacao nibs. Tastes a treat!

INGREDIENTS
  • Bananas, 4 (frozen)
  • Medjool Dates, 4
  • Cashew Butter, 3 tbsp
  • Hulled Tahini, 1 tbsp
  • Cacao Nibs, 1/4 cup
METHOD
  1. Combine all ingredients (except cacao nibs) in a high-power blender, blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Then add cacao nibs and briefly blend or gently mix through.
  3. Spoon into your favourite Coconut Bowls and add additional cacao nibs, banana, nut butter and/or macadamias.
